Content Writer and Project Management

Digital Content Creation (50%) 
Create and publish engaging content such as case studies and blog posts targeting a B2B audience 
Create video series for on-demand publication (webinars, fireside chats), collaborating across the marketing team to to select participants, design content and narrative, and 
Blog management, curation, and contribution 
Lead editorial execution for core evergreen websites (including, but not limited to, Canada Enterprise, Canada Events) in English and French. End-to-end execution includes: setting editorial meetings, working with stakeholders to curate content, submitting content for upload and review, leading website measurement, and providing recommendations for optimization. 
Lead editorial execution (content placement) for select internal sites as above, collaborating across CMO teams 
Ensure compliance to Microsoft web standards and brand standards for all new and evergreen sites. 
Maintain complete list of all websites and review quarterly with content owners to determine ongoing support or timeline for retirement. 
Digital Program and Project Management (50%) 
New website/campaign requests 
Evaluate all new website/web page requests against a set of established criteria to determine if the project should be completed by local agency, service desk, or can be executed within an existing web site. 
Build requirements documentation and execute submissions through service desk for all new projects as needed 
Provide recommendations for new requests based on past results and digital best practices 
Local site management 
Maintain complete list of all websites and review quarterly with content owners to determine ongoing support or timeline for retirement. 
Review global websites for local alignment 
Use Adobe Analytics to build website engagement reports 
Lead execution across all Microsoft web accessibility activity, including submitting jobs, working with the Microsoft Service Center (MSC), leading the //getonline process, budget management for scans, and more. 
Maintain a local scorecard of MSC and Agency websites including accessibility score. 
Work across site content owners to ensure accessibility changes are actioned within deadlines 

Deliverables and KPIs: 
2-4 blog posts per month published on Microsoft digital properties 
1-2 case studies per month published on Microsoft digital properties 
1 webinar per month created aligned to Microsoft messaging priorities and campaigns 
Audit and streamline web site footprint for optimized customer journey 
Increase engagement (traffic, time on site, CTR) on evergreen websites 
Drive business impact by showing measurable increase in marketing leads from evergreen websites 
Deliver web projects on time, on brand, within accessibility standards 
Maintain “green” scorecard on web accessibility 
Provide robust analytics and reporting on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to key stakeholders 

Relevant Skills and experiences: 
3-5 years’ experience in creating content (blogs, case studies, videos) for digital channels. Writing samples required. 
Experience in digital marketing project management 
Demonstrated superior communication skills (writing, internal presentations, content creation). Understanding of content formats across all digital platforms. 
Excellent Project Management skills – excelling at at establishing clear directions; setting and communicating milestones and stretch objectives; managing multiple projects at once; clear and regular collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups 
Demonstrated analytical skills – an ability to take data from multiple sources, synthesize and analyze for internal audiences, and make recommendations based on historical data or best practices. 
Understanding of B2B digital customer journey 
Knowledge of SEO best practices and optimization activities. 
Experience with the following platforms: DCM (Double Click Manager), Adobe Analytics, Google AdWords, Marketing Automation 
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business or Communications required 
Creative thinking and an energetic and positive approach to facing challenges. Self-starter, ability to take initiative, be proactive, and work independently. 

Preference will be given to candidates who: 
Background & knowledge in technology and the Microsoft product offering 
Bilingual: English and French (French Canadian preferred) 
Experience with relevant technology & reporting tools 

Flexible work hours (as some activities will require support outside traditional 9am-5pm)
