The main function of a call center/customer service specialist is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. A typical customer service specialist is responsible for determining the client's issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. Customer service agents may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both. Job Responsibilities: Resolve customers service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills. Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments. Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one?s time. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. 2-4 years customer service related experience required.

Additional Job Details:
Generate quotes, submit credit requests, document preparation and other activities to support the Lease Coordinators in option resolution. 1. Processes lease option financing requests, modification/refinance requests transfer and assumption requests. 3. If customer opts to finance their purchase option, works with Lease Coordinator to help the structure and pricing of the financing, quotes the financing, conducts due diligence, makes credit decisions within authority, executes documents within authority and books said financing in the leasing system. 4. If customer desires to return the equipment, ensures the equipment is returned to the nearest Caterpillar dealership in a timely fashion. Once the machine is in the dealer’s yard, notifies Remarketing that the asset needs to be inventoried. When applicable, ensures the calculation, invoicing and collection of overuse charges from the customer. 5. Performs loan and lease quotes, credit investigation, financial statement analysis, collateral evaluation, credit decision (within authority and makes recommendation when customer exposure is beyond established credit authority) and execution of documents for all lease service processes. 6. Follows established procedures for performing basic accounting duties. More specifically the inputting of financial data associated with option financing and/or refinances into our leasing system.
