Must be able work a rotating 8-hour schedule, which includes, weekends, holidays, and vacation coverage


Typical schedules:

  • Day shift 6:30am to 3:00pm
  • Night shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm

Role synopsis

The Customer Service Representative/Data Entry will provide customer service to our retail customers via telephone by placing orders per their specific requirements, change or cancel orders as required. Answer questions regarding ETA, load size, etc of dispatched/forecasted loads.


- Point of contact for notification of station closed / reopened.  Collect all pertinent information and notify appropriate person/department.

- Point of contact for emergency scenarios i.e. spills, cross dumps, accidents and escalates to appropriate people/departments.

 - Gather all customer address and telephone number changes and notify Data Specialist to update.

- Enter information into various excel spreadsheets regarding Run Outs and Retains.  Maintain Tank Test spreadsheet, creating entries and making changes as appropriate.


Key accountabilities

Confer with customers by telephone to determine order requirements; answering inquiries; resolving problems; fulfilling requests; maintaining database.

- Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.

- Processing orders into the system,

- Contact customers by telephone in order to respond to inquiries.

- Maintains tank test spreadsheet by entering information.
- Ensure the completion and documentation of in a timely manner

- Other project data entry


Essential Education

A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Essential experience and job requirements

- Excellent communication skills and good phone etiquette

- Strong computer system / software skills – Excel, Word.

 -Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 -Ability to prioritize work effectively and efficiently, while maintaining composure in stressful situations

- Self-motivated and professional attitude

- Ability to work and deliver on objectives with limited direct supervision

Desirable criteria & qualifications

Prior customer service and logistics experience desired
