The Data Effectiveness Lead will own data maintenance processes for customer master data, organizational hierarchy, product hierarchy and other high touch integrated data. This will entail analysis of proposed changes to determine impacts, explaining impacts to teammates and business stakeholders, interfacing with upstream system stakeholders, determining a plan of action, testing, and implementing.


The team member will also act as business team lead for all data integrations into the profitability system. This will entail maintaining relationships with upstream and downstream partners, being aware of their roadmaps and how they will impact PV, and ensuring that PV teammates, leadership, partners in technology, and business stakeholders are aware and prepared.


Additional duties will include:

  • Ability to understand the data lifecycle from upstream to downstream systems
  • Partner across product management framework to assist in defining data strategy, identify areas for process improvement, and oversee execution of data integrity maintenance and governance
  • Manage data reconciliation efforts for individual LOBs and Wholesale GL
  • Develop effective communications that clearly illustrate discrepancies and resolution efforts to drive accurate business reporting and end-user trust
  • Serve as liaison to DMI participating in Commercial Lending Data and other forums as needed
  • Serve as liaison with producers and consumers of profitability data to understand and resolve data concerns
  • Assist with data clean-up projects and enhancements.



Required Qualifications 


  • 8+ years of finance experience with strong general ledger and reconciliation expertise, product management experience, or a combination of both
  • Strong business acumen with ability to effectively develop and execute executive-level communications
  • Ability to work well within a team to define data strategy, identify areas for process improvement, and oversee execution




Desired Qualifications 


  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 6+ years product/application development and business analysis experience from inception through delivery including requirements gathering and documentation, customer review/validation of requirements, prioritization and queue maintenance, and user acceptance testing. 
  • Data analysis skills and experience with data and analytics tools, particularly SQL and Excel. 
  • Wholesale Banking business process/sales process experience. 
  • Ability and confidence to lead presentations of complex ideas in person or online and through conference calls to other individuals or groups in order to communicate and report as needed. 
  • Ability to think strategically and deliver tactically. 
  • Ability to prioritize work, meets deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment. 
  • Experience with reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence platforms. 
  • Familiarity with Wholesale applications (e.g. WCIS, iHUB, GLUE, ORBT, CPL). 
  • Familiarity with Wholesale Data Governance programs. 
  • Experience working with pricing and profitability tools
