3-5 years experience - Installs microcomputer hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives. Loads and verifies correct operation of software packages, such as operating system, word processing and spreadsheet programs. Provides training and technical assistance to users. Identifies and resolves hardware, software and operator problems, makes minor repairs, or refers to service personnel. Installation and desktop and physical phone support experience providing local or remote support for IT-related activities (applications to infrastructure) to large or regional corporate facilities. Performs installs, moves and changes, to office layout for PC's, software, printers, phones and network components. Communicates effectively, providing guidance and technical support for workstations, applications, procedures and break fix items; working with users, remote team members and peer groups across the organization to complete assigned work. Support of USB TR and NER rooms including: equipment installations, hardware racking, cable management and vendor support/oversight. Process HP Service Management Service Requests assigned, managing incoming work, responding to customer calls and e-mails displaying sensitivity to callers needs and situations. Individual will be responsible to adhere to Information Security. Qualifications - PC Support experience - Customer Support experience - Knowledgeable in Word, Excel - 4 total years of experience within an Information Technology (IT) environment.
