Ambassador Community Manager

Job description:

The US Commercial Device Community Manager will be the Ambassador's main liaison to our cluebt. The Community Manager will be an external staff resource tasked with ensuring constant communication between the Commercial Category & Device Marketing teams and our Ambassadors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the strategy & execution of the US Commercial Device Ambassador program for the Commercial Category & Device Marketing team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the managed Distributors and Resellers' strengths and capabilities.
  • Partner with Channel Marketing, Field Labor, and Demo teams to create account-specific training plans that can be implemented across key partners.
  • Establish a calendar of training events and activities with assigned distributors, resellers and device partners
  • Communicate with Ambassadors on a weekly/daily basis.
  • Deliver important updates and marketing campaigns from the Category/Marketing teams.
  • Gather insights and feedback from partners on campaigns and deals to report back to Category.
  • Identify opportunities for deeper partner engagement à events, campaigns, programs.
  • Coordinate Monthly Community Calls including finding and aligning speakers for readiness.
  • Aggregate and synthesize the Ambassador bi-weekly reporting.
  • Develop and track Ambassador KPIs (e.g., time on the phone, number of emails sent, number of trainings, numbers of reps trained, etc.)
  • Leverage our clients readiness training and marketing content to support key product launches and selling seasons. Develop US-specific and/or account-tailored assets based on need.



  • 5+ years of related partner or channel training / field readiness experience, preferably in the IT Channel.
  • Commercial channel expertise: Strong knowledge of distributor and reseller sales environments and motions à proven track record with telesales training and support.
  • Strong business acumen: Strong understanding and dealing with different business situations and stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an outstanding attention to detail and an ability to see ‘the big picture’.
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills to groups of all sizes and levels.
  • Proven track record in delivering training, evangelism and readiness effort with measurable business impact.
  • Ability to take the initiative and lead projects with little direction with independent decision making and organizational planning skills.
  • Strong industry knowledge, including hardware standards, devices, operating systems, software, SaaS, distribution, and sales channels through multiple sources. Online, Tele-sales, inside sales and in person sales.
  • Accustomed to nationwide travel to partner premises (on an as needed basis).
  • University degree preferred.
