Job Purpose:

As a key member of the Brand and Creative Services team, the Digital Designer has design development experience in transactional and consumer experience email. They are focused on best practices, engaging design in digital and traditional channels that informs the consumer, reflects the brand and moves people to action. A successful candidate will possess multi-faceted design experience – interactive and traditional – including traditional print and digital including email, online ads, responsive design, MS Office and alternate media experience. The role will collaborate with multiple departments including Consumer Experience, Billing & Payments, Consumer Sales, ECommerce, Digital and Traditional Media.

  • Generates and presents clear ideas and concepts that meet internal clients’ objectives and foster positive client relationships through open communication and collaboration.
  • Possesses in-depth digital design knowledge and experience focused on industry best practices in the latest content channels.
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues improve communication of products or services, and the customer experience with strong focus on call-to-action for direct response.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions and approaches changes with flexibility.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create and deliver innovative, relevant, best practice designs.
  • Assist with maintaining consistency of brand look/campaign, marketing and communications strategies in accordance with predetermined guidelines.
  • Ability to think creatively while keeping business objectives in mind.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to communicate ideas visually, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.



Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in design with demonstrated portfolio expertise
  • 3-5 years of proven expertise in design fundamentals, design systems, and the creative process.
  • Strong portfolio that exhibits high aesthetic standards in print and digital applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of the latest versions of applicable programs: Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat DC; MS Office suite templates or similar.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Driven to continue learning new skills, tools, and adapt to evolving processes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to assess strategy and translate to clear communication that gets results.
  • Experience with Agile methodology also a plus.
