Senior Systems Analyst- ECM and Applications Support

Location- Downtown Chicago, IL

Duration- 6mos contract (plus longer term with extensions)

Job Description:

This position is responsible for support, configuration and maintenance of Financial Institution's Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and other applications, interfaces and related systems.  Serves as the primary subject matter expert related to how the ECM systems work from both a business and technical perspective for the use of document management, scanning and other related services.  He/she plays an integral role on the installation, configuration, system integration testing and evaluation of new and upgraded technologies  related to specific projects.  In addition, this role provides the day-to-day support of ECM applications and interfaces through troubleshooting issues and incident resolution.  Other responsibilities include creating metrics to identify trends and negotiating contracts and licensing renewals.  Assist Compliance and Security to ensure ECM environment is functioning in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.  This position provides support for other applications, as required.

Responsible for day-to-day support and maintenance of ECM and other applications as assigned and interfaces partnering with vendor(s) to ensure quality services.  Includes troubleshooting and resolving system-related production issues, identifying root cause, working with vendors on bugs/fixes and implementing quality solutions.  Assist Compliance and Security to ensure ECM environment is functioning in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Perform daily administration of the ECM environment.  Builds and modifies OpenText Content Server workflows, forms, reports, and custom taxonomy/metadata according to specifications and expand upon existing applications to meet ongoing needs.  Builds and leverages automation to decrease overall system downtime and improve systems operations.  Create change requests and apply approved change requests to system functionality and configuration.

Modify, enhance and/or create solutions to meet business requirements.  Review, plan, test and implement system upgrades and enhancements.  Partners with developers to build system functionality and improve quality attributes.  Review system patches and updates by vendor to ensure minimal system impact.  Participates on project teams producing quality and timely work product.  Perform unit testing of solutions prior to moving to production. 

Builds and leverages metrics, incident reports, availability reporting and trends to improve system functionality.  Produces reports to monitor enhancements, upgrades and patches to the environment.

Builds and/or maintains system, end user, support and training documentation, procedures and guidelines for the LOBs, Application Support team, Service Desk and others.  Participates in disaster recovery plans, testing and exercises.  Other duties as assigned and support of other applications.
