Job Title: eCommerce IT Apps PM
Work Location: Chicago Illinois USA 60606

• Responsible for management of a multiple projects of high complexity, priority, and risk

• Oversee the development of the detailed business requirements for the project and ensures they address the business unit's objectives

• Develop a detailed estimate of the level of effort, schedule and budget necessary to successfully develop and deliver the solution meeting the requirements and quality expectations

• Escalate problems as necessary to ensure awareness and seek assistance with resolution when necessary

• Meet the project requirements by delivering a quality solution, on time, and within the planned budget

• Track, manage, and adjust the original plan as necessary to ensure successful delivery

• Communicate the requirements, solution design, and estimates to the project sponsors

• Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, sponsors, the enterprise, and others involved in the project

• Effectively coordinate with the various technology, business, and vendor teams to ensure the project's success

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department

• Oversees all aspects of projects

• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project

• Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects

• Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project


• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience, education or training

• PMP Certification preferred


• Supporting banking platform project for loyalty program

• 3-8 years of experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution

• Airline, Ecommerce, and Loyalty experience highly preferred

• Technical PM position requiring general system knowledge and experience

• Communication skills are crucial

• Willingness to follow up and escalate when necessary

• Ability to know when and how to escalate (1 on 1 vs. up the reporting chain)

• Ability to influence where there is no direct authority

• Analytic skills required as is project finance acumen

• Willingness to perform the basics of project management consistently

• Must possess and inner urgency with tasks on projects

• Strong Excel abilities (must be able to manage a project budget)

• Must be a quick learner and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
