Apex Systems, a national leader in IT staffing, is searching for a Enterprise Tools Analyst who will assist the Project Management Office in analyzing data, developing reports and supporting the PMO and IT organization of a large hospitality client in Indianapolis, IN. This is a 6 month contract opportunity. Please see below for requirements!

Essential Job Functions:

  • Administer resource accounts and project information in CA Clarity PPM
  • Administer accounts and project information in Jira
  • Create and coordinate the preparation and release of financial and management reports
  • Create scripts for importing, exporting, analyzing, mapping and converting data
  • Develop and maintain a variety of report types, including but not limited to pivot, tabular, drill down, matrix, charts
  • Write queries, views, or stored procedures to extract data
  • Develop complex SQL reports, help automate report data collection
  • Test and validate reports to insure accuracy and quality
  • Analyze tables to establish knowledge of data for accurate retrieval and use in report writing
  • Maintain, automate and increase efficiency of existing reports
    Design, develop, publish, and maintain management dashboards
  • Help to maintain and create SharePoint site pages

  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving
  • Interpersonal/customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others;  demonstrated collaborative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel (Pivot tables, Power Pivot, formulas, VBA)
  • Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets and graphs
  • Thorough knowledge of SQL relational database theory and practice – specifically Oracle
  • Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
  • Experience with CA Clarity Project Portfolio Management would be beneficial
  • Understanding and experience working with a Program and or Project Management office would be beneficial
  • Experience creating SharePoint web sites and familiarity working with SharePoint as a site admin would be beneficial
  • Experience with the following tools and technologies would be beneficial:
