Job Overview:  

We are seeking a professional with experience in both information technology and business administration to manage the deployment and maintenance of our current business application systems (ERP, Databases, Sharepoint, etc.). The successful applicant will serve as the liaison between the Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Supply Chain and IT departments of our company, leveraging the data the IT team extrapolates through reporting and analysis while also overseeing the utilization and ongoing management and optimization of our software programs and resources. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and highly innovative and possesses strong project planning skills. He or she will also be responsible for translating business needs to IT solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects and initiatives in mind by leading system integrations and software vendor management. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Configures, implements, maintains and upgrades Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application  modules (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain Management)
  • Analyzes user requirements to determine ERP system configuration and customization
  • Provide ongoing ERP system support
  • May participate in defining requirements and selecting software vendors
  • Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
  • Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming
  • Has a thorough understanding of the business or function for which application is designed
  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/ best practices for existing systems
  • Reviews system requirements and business process; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions
  • Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to IT needs through applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure
  • Responsible for quality assurance review
  • Is recognized as an expert in own area within the organization
  • Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions
  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
  •  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree information technology or related field
  • 7 plus years of experience
  • Strong verbal communications skills and presentation skills
  • Proficient with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP
  • Available to travel
