Description: Data Warehouse/ETL Developer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and interpret business requirements for a complex healthcare reporting application

• Design, build and test needed data structures to ensure a high level of data quality and optimal system performance for a web-based data reporting application

• Build new ETL (extract, transform and load) processes and maintain existing ETL tools using Oracle PL / SQL, UNIX, DataStage, or Talend technologies

• Develop technical specifications and design documents

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Front-end Developers, and Quality Assurance analysts in a fast paced Agile Implementation process on technical design and issues

• Understand the business and how various data elements and subject areas are utilized

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Data warehouse development and design

• Experience with SQL development

• Experience with mid - high volume ETL

• Strong Data Analysis skills

• Experience with formal System Development Lifecycle and Data Quality processes

• Experience with Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years Oracle PL / SQL

• Healthcare data experience

• Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Talend, or Informatica
