Position Description:

This client supports a number of residential energy efficiency programs in Rhode Island.  As part of our scope of work, we conduct annual shelf surveys at participating retail locations in these states to help assess the availability of energy efficient products and the impact of the programs. In addition, we provide customer service support to retailers participating in the program and help disseminate information about the programs. We have a temporary need to assist with in-store product/promotion inventories; compilation, entry and quality checks of data in support of the surveys; and supplement existing field staff efforts during the summer months.

Job Requirements

1.  All candidates will be required to have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record.

 2.  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Responsibilities:

1.  Compile general information on products surveyed in-stores by utilizing existing program data and quick on-line queries. Merge information into central database. Perform quality checks on data collected in the field.

2.  Comprehensive data repository of general product information to support survey efforts and analysis

3.  Provide back-up support during peak periods of activity and vacations. Visit retailers in MA and RI as needed to deliver rebate forms, and other Point of Purchase advertising materials. Check on status of negotiated promotions and provide feedback to management. Assist with other clerical tasks as requested. Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record. Will be compensated for mileage and travel expenses. Must be able to take and follow direction, have a good eye for detail, good organizational and computer skills, be able to communicate clearly, and have a professional appearance.
