Apex Systems, the nation's 2nd largest IT staffing firm is looking for Data Functional Analyst who has experience with heavy requirements gathering. 
This is a long-term contract position with a reputable client in Charlotte, NC
W2 candidates! 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 or more years’ experience in a systems analyst role, preferably on enterprise level projects

Skills:
  • Analysis:  Proven experience in software requirements elicitation
  • Data Integration:  Proven experience on projects dealing with large amounts of data and data relationships.  Experience with SQL queries is a plus.
  • Assertiveness:  Being proactive in organizing people and tasks in order to meet deadlines.  Ability to question whether certain functionality is a must have or not in order to control scope.
  • Critical thinking:  Thinking through problems and suggested solutions to identify strengths and weaknesses in the solution with an eye to future supportability and growth
  • Active listening:  Asking questions in order to ensure that what is being said is being fully understood
  • Time management:  Effectively managing time with minimal supervision, managing multiple priorities and ensuring assigned tasks are worked on in order of priority
  • Proactive communication:  Consistently keep management and team members advised on progress through effective communication
  • Team-orientation with a desire to build positive, effective relationships
  • Knowledge of the English language:  Meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, grammar, ability to communicate effectively and be understood both verbally and in writing
