Position: Level 1 Helpdesk

Location: Richmond, VA

Pay: $13.00/hr

Job Description:

  • Provides management for the support, availability, operation, and recoverability of production systems.
  • Includes functions in support of end user needs.
  • Includes first-level technical support to both internal and external customers.
  • Usually provided via telephone. Includes hands-on support of hardware and software issues, usually at the customers site.
  • May include hands-on support of low-level network issues, such as password set-up and resets.
  • Help Desk Service Experience 0 - 1 years
  • Entry level problem solving ability
  • Experience in specific applications involved
  • Negotiation, Facilitation, Consensus building Not required
  • Provides clear concise communication with individuals
  • Includes first-level technical support to both internal and external customers. Usually provided via telephone.
  • Includes hands-on support of hardware and software issues, usually at the customers site. Also includes hands-on support of low-level network issues, such as password set-up and resets.
  • Typical Experience Level: 1-2 years'
