Pay rate- up to $18/hour depending on experience
 
 
Responsibilities:

• Respond to and correct server-side application errors, including

• Communication synchronization (QAnywhere) errors

• Client management software (Afaria)

• Server Application errors (C and Shell script issues)

• Interserver Communication errors (RPC and FTP interaction issues)

• Engage and interact with application service team for Tomcat, JMS and TSF issues

• Identify and interact with database support team for Oracle errors and maintenance

• Engage and interact with Midrange Support and Network teams for hardware error and maintenance
Provide second level support to field technicians for laptop and client application issues, including:

• Laptop application initialization issues (Afaria)

• Laptop communication synchronization issues (QAnywhere)

• Client application errors (Visual Basic)

• Email synchronization issues (Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility)
Provide business support in maintenance and management of data, including:

• Support in modifying and rolling out data changes (Oracle scripting)

• Reporting on application usage (PL/SQL)

• Diagnosing data discrepancies between systems

• Diagnosing process discrepancies in data flow Out of Scope

• Correction to logic errors in client or server code

• Enhancements to existing systems

• Laptop hardware troubleshooting

• Wireless and remote connection technology troubleshooting

• Direct end-user support or training Requirements:

• Knowledge / Expertise in Visual Basic

• Knowledge / Expertise in C

• Knowledge / Expertise with Oracle DB

• Knowledge / Expertise in Unix scripts

• Knowledge / Expertise in QAnywhere

• Knowledge / Expertise in Afaria

• Vendor well-understood GE Business RFP and addressed each requirement in a comprehensive, yet succinct manner
