Candidate Responsibilities  
In a Shared Services environment, this position serves as a liaison between the process owner and the service center groups to reflect process changes in a standard format. SSOS HR Reps also interface with Corporate Human Resources, Compensation + Benefit and Payroll personnel to assist in the administration and support of employee issues and problems in some or all of the following areas: Code of Conduct EEO Administration and internal investigations Temporary layoffs EOS & pulse management Leaves of absence including medical and Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA’s) HR consulting regarding performance levels PL3C, 4 & 5 Relocation and International Service Employees (ISE’s) Job evaluations/job code information Performance management & ePerformance Payroll/benefit questions Salary administration Time and attendance PeopleSoft (PS) related activities and tree questions Reorganizations
 
Typical Day
Performing standard Shared Services tasks and functions. Assisting with on-site walk-up traffic in the facility.
 
Education Requirements:  
The position typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience.
 
Technical Skills  
Microsoft Knowledge - Excel, Word Vlookup and Pivot Table Knowledge The position typically requires some knowledge of various areas of human resources including benefits, employment, pay-related practices/process, compensation and company policies and procedures. The position typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience. In addition, 1-2 years of human resources job-related experience are typically required.
 
Soft Skills
 
Develop and recommend solutions to problems of limited scope and complexity. Generally resolves issues by following departmental guidelines or applying a solution that worked in the past. Can change different parts of the standard approach to serve customers best, but cannot add or delete procedures without approval. Work under general supervision. Follows established documented processes and procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Good human relations and effective communications skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside of department.
