We are working closely with an Enterprise Data & Applications team with one of our major technology clients that is looking to add an ETL / Informatica Developer to the team! This team works primarily on the financial processing technology platforms offered by the company and they do all of the ETL development across all of these platforms,

They primarily use Informatica as an ETL tool and this group is located in Central NJ.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support existing ETL and Data Quality jobs in production environment
  • Acts as first point of contact for any job failure, review problem(s), identify issue(s) and works to resolve them
  • Monitors the loads and systems and communicates with other teams regarding problems to ensure the system is functioning
  • Works with Offshore team to maintain and monitor the systems 24*7
  • Provides updates to the management and the business to keep them informed of any system issues
  • Responsible for production deployments
  • Creates and updates the run books as required
  • Helps in maintaining Informatica in multiple environments

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT industry
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing or supporting ETL jobs. Informatica Power Center experience is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in working with relational databases. Experience in Oracle and MS SQL Server is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in writing or maintaining UNIX shell scripts
  • Experience in Informatica Administration is preferred
  • Experience in optimizing ETL jobs
  • Good understanding of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema
  • A self-starting team player able to work independently
