Job Profile Summary 
Supports the goals and objectives of the organization by managing information lifecycle management projects. Serves as an adviser to business units on information lifecycle management issues to maintain company compliance with applicable laws and requirements. Identifies risks and collaborates with stakeholders on mitigation plans and solutions. 

Job Description 
-Utilizing strong understanding of business and operations, collaborate with Legal, external resources, and business partners/vendors to facilitate enterprise information lifecycle management projects. 
-Provide timely and accurate consultation and collaboration to business areas on issues related to information lifecycle management. 
-Develop and oversee an effective auditing and monitoring program and consult with business areas to develop and implement corrective action for audit findings.
-Assist in creating effective communications and training programs, to articulate information lifecycle management strategy to all affected areas of the enterprise. 
-Participate in project reviews to assure the implementation of information lifecycle management policies on new or enhanced systems. 

Hiring Requirements 
-Bachelor’s degree and 3 years business experience in one or more of the following areas: information governance, content or records management, health insurance, compliance, and/or lega
-Must have direct project management or project implementation experience. 
-Must have experience in one or more of the following: policy design and implementation, consulting, and/or audit 

Hiring Preferences 
-Advanced degree in law, systems, information, health care administration, or a related regulated field preferred. 
-Knowledge of or experience in the health care or health insurance industry preferred. 
-Knowledge of NC and federal legal and regulatory requirements governing records retention, as well as Federal Rules of Civil Procedure 
-Experience in business or systems analysis, preferably with emphasis on regulatory requirements governing record retention and/or best practices related to records management
-Solid business analysis and project management skills with ability to multitask and coordinate project work in a cross-functional environment 
-Strong influencing and consultative skills and the ability to advise on issues and opportunities 
-Demonstrated ability to analyze business or systems processes and to propose appropriate and effective solutions
-Ability to assess and address customer expectations and needs 
-Strong relationship building and communication (oral and written) skills 
-Current certification from recognized organization in fields of records management, enterprise content management, or e-discovery preferred.
