Apex Systems, the nation's 2nd largest IT Staffing and Consulting agency, has a challenging opportunity for a high profile client in Washington, DC.

Position: Infrastructure Architect (SFTP)
Location: Washington, DC
Length: 6 Month Contract (May extend)
Pay Rate: 80/hr - 100/hr (Negotiable based off experience)
Requirements: Must be eligible to work on W2 and not require sponsorship
 
Project Description:
 
Our client needs someone to design and implement either an HA solution using IPSwitch recommended software, or migrate MOVEit DMZ! to the IPSwitch cloud product.
 
Technical Environment:
 
They are managing a virtual machine that runs a secure file transfer software (MOVEit DMZ!). They are using SRM to replicate this server to their DR site, so there is some measure of fault tolerance that is in place for this critical server. They also have an in-house application that picks up files from the MOVEit DMZ! Server and delivers them to the mainframe or other location.
 
Requirement:

Essentially, they need an Architect that is capable of researching the different solution options, designing the solution, and implementing it. In this role you will be the subject matter expert, and will take the project from start to finish. You should have design and engineering experience, accompanied with experience setting up and deploying SFTP solutions.
