Apex Systems has an immediate and high profile opportunity for an Intake Analyst for a large healthcare client of ours in Norfolk, VA. Applicants with BA/SA/BSA/PM backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The Intake Analyst for this team will be responsible for overseeing several projects and their timelines, analyzing the requirements for each project and potential impacts, and prioritizing the projects as required.

Primary Duties:

•         Review information provided by other areas of the organization for possible impact to the Mobile team

•         Understand feature sets within the mobile app to help assess impact for upcoming projects

•         Understand roadmap and priorities to effectively communicate status and position within backlog to project teams

•         Present projects, after compiling research, to mobile program team for decision about whether to accept work in to backlog

•         Create requirements documentation (Epics, user stories) which distill project information to mobile specific impact in app backlog

•         Communicate with project teams on current status

•         Create estimates and submit via corporate estimation tool

•         Work with product management to develop epic(s) and capture MVP for projects

•         Coordinate with SCRUM team BSA’s to understand app feature sets

•         Craft documentation and support process improvements for both intake and the mobile team
 
Requirements:

•         Understanding of Agile, SAFe preferred

•         BA/SA background with a focus on externally facing technologies (web, mobile) ideal

•         Excellent communication skills (written, verbal)

•         Ability to translate high-level requirements in to Epics, MVP, User Stories, and Acceptance criteria for evaluation by SCRUM teams
