Intermediate EpicCare Analyst

  • Analysis of existing procedure and component mappings utilized by Epic interfaces
  • Identifying and merging duplicative procedures, components, and other impacted records
  • Imports of cleaned/updated records into Epic
  • Testing new mappings and validating changes have no impact on results routing or result matching logic
  • Validate both outbound orders and inbound HL7 result message structure remains unchanged
  • These services ensure that the project as a whole has no unplanned impact to the existing interfaces

Responsibilities of the IT Resources shall include but are not limited to the following:

The resources will work forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, at our client's South Side location. Resources must be available for eighteen (18) months (2880 hours). The targeted start date is April 22, 2019. This position has the potential to be extended upon completion of the original eighteen months.

Required Skillsets and Qualifications of a successful candidate must include:

  • Clinical and/or reference lab (e.g. Quest, Sunquest, Labcorp) experience
  • HL7 knowledge
  • Regulatory/Meaningful Use knowledge
  • Proficient in Imports
  • Proficient in Chronicle report generation
  • Proficient in EAP and LRR build

Equipment and Software made available to IT Resource

  • Equipment: Laptop, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Docking station
  • Software: EpicCare, Microsoft Office, PPM, SharePoint, Sunquest LIS
