Needed: Internal Audit IT Manager

Must have:
  • SOX Compliance ITGC Testing experience and willingness to continue this hands-on task within a management role as well 
  • True Management Experience-- 3-4 years minimum
  • Must be comfortable giving input on what they thing the IT Audit team should look like and help to build out the IT Audit Function
  • Finding facts and explaining what they interpret to be a 'finding'
  • Must be comfortable with daily contact with IT, both on formal and informal terms to help IT understand what potential risks are at hand

1. Builds relationships, partners and communicates key stakeholders while maintaining objectivity
2. Leads and conducts SOX IT testing and IT work for other assurance and advisory projects, including M&A integration activities
3. Performs project planning, administration and execution including budget management, staff supervision and quality reviews
4. Performs risk and control identification and evaluation and process improvement focused on information technology
5. Establishes cooperative and sustainable relationships with business, IT and functional leaders and team members in other risk, compliance and process improvement functions
6. Performs detailed IT risk assessments - planning, scoping, budgeting, leading, conducting, reporting and remediation follow-up on SOX IT testing and other assurance and advisory projects including acquisition integration activities related to EZCORP’s IT environment
7. Hires, trains, supervises and coaches staff and or co-source resources
8. Evaluates business and IT processes to identify key risks, controls and process improvements
9. Advises management on ways to make processes faster, more cost-effective and sustainable resulting in improved business performance
10. Provides information as requested by external auditors
11. Communicates with management on project planning, issue identification and recommendations
