IS Application Manager - Responsible for managing multiple IT applications owned by the Core Banking Systems group including Memo post (system of record for intraday deposit account balance), Safe Deposit Box, Agiletics ZBA and Agiletics Escrow-Sub Accounting. 

  • May require some off-hours support – during release cycles

Responsibilities:

  • Must develop and maintain a high level of expertise related to assigned applications 
  • Planning, scheduling, assignment and monitoring of technical resources responsible for development and maintenance of assigned applications
  • Delivery of projects and enhancements on schedule and to specifications
  • Collaboration with project management, business analyst and quality assurance to build effective project teams
  • Ensuring that team members are appropriately trained to support the functions within the team
  • Management of day-to-day production support activities
  • Maintenance of Configuration Management Database (CMDS) for assigned applications
  • Participation in annual application Audit activities, and coordination of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery exercises as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technically related field of study
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible technology experience
  • Experience in mainframe, COBOL and DB2 application support
  • Previous experience managing technical resources
  • An understanding of information technology processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with banking applications, preferably Deposit related
  • Previous experience with COOL:gen development tool would be ideal
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively interface and team with all levels of the organization
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and assertive while possessing the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to coordinate multiple projects and flexible at adjusting assigned priorities when needed
