Title: IT Project Coordinator Entry 
Location: Foster City, CA
Contract Length: Approximately 12 Month Contract with Conversion Potential
Pay Rate: Competitive Based on Experience
Job Summary: 
This is a critical position in the Research Organization reporting to the head of Research Operations. 
Your primary role will be to support the work efforts of our researchers. You should be comfortable with owning issues and managing the outcomes. You enjoy driving, resolving, facilitating and follow up for any challenge. You understand the risks and the trade-offs, and are both technical and process focused. You will have experience creating and editing technical and business-focused content. 
In this role, you will work very closely with our internal partners across organizations. This high performer will support cross-functional teams responsible for engaging with various stakeholders across academia and the payments industry. 

Must have skills: 
- 2-3 years of experience of work within a business process executing complex processes. 
- Worked in PM or Project coordination. 
- Detailed orientated. 
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity
- Background in processing. 
- Strong with Microsoft Suite - Excel(Pivot tables, v-lookup, if there is something they don't know, taking initiative to youtube/research). 
- Bachelor's Degree 

Roles and responsibilities: 
- This is part of price risk management. Focusing on technology risk, involves governance, exceptions, controls and assessment, review. 
- The team receives many exceptions and it has been hard to stay afloat. 
- Team of 3 people and they receive 6-9k requests a year. Looking for someone to learn the process, once they have mastered the role, drive and own the process.
