Java developer for dev and support. Senior guy who knows the build and deployment process using Git, Jenkins, uDeploy; work with other engineers for deployments, configuration and app validation. Rest web services, JDBC. Web app experience


Responsibilities include the following:

  •  Responsible for troubleshooting critical production problems during on call shift for the production environment
  •  Participates in root cause analysis for all incidents occurred in production
  •  Works on and resolve simple to moderate problems in the production defect queue
  •  Creates reports and documents detailing the status of production issues and project efforts
  •  Involved in supporting infrastructure maintenance activities such as: OS patching, version upgrades, SSL Certificate renewals
  •  Participates in overall system testing and business continuity plan activities
  •  Maintains a knowledge base repository to properly document troubleshooting scenarios and resolutions

Minimum qualifications:

Prior experience with production support of enterprise applications

4+ years of experience in software development using Java/J2EE, XML, JMS, Struts, Hibernate

4+ years of experience working with J2EE application server (Oracle Weblogic/Portal)

4+ years of experience working with Solaris or Red Hat Linux

3+ years of experience writing PL/SQL queries to validate data and data structures

Experience with deployment automation tools such as AntHill Pro

1+ years of experience working with AutoSys jobs

1+ years of experience working in an enterprise production environment

Experience using APM technologies Optier/Introscope/Dynatrace for production monitoring, troubleshoot problems and perform root cause analysis

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including systems, processes and procedures
