Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing technical solutions to business requirements and issues, meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered product meets the technical specifications and design requirements. Should work seamlessly with architects and peers in elaborating the solution and translate the proposed solution into design artifacts/specifications.
Develops, maintains, and supports applications for the enterprise’s Internet/intranet sites. Gathers and analyzes requirements. 
Documents components and applications.
Works closely with application development teams in validating and implementing proposed design. 
Reports out the status of project(s) assigned 
Maintains related project documents and/or artifacts 
Ensure that delivered product meets defined standards and best practices 
Perform code review audits and present metrics to management 
Own one or more modules of the project under development 
Flexible in working under changing and different work settings 
Accurate time accounting and reporting of own work 
Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence and report same to reporting manager 
Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of java developed projects

Required Experience:
Technical Lead/Team Lead with experience working on complex Web applications
Proficient in Core Java, J2EE, Design Patterns, Spring/Struts Framework, WebServices (SOAP/REST), SQL, Databases, JUnits, WebSphere Application Server 
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 8-10 years of IT work experience in software development, installation and modification in an online environment.
Should be able to provide effort estimates and plan for required deliverables/projects 
Good understanding of UML, OO design, design patterns 
Strong experience of software quality governance 
Excellent coordination skills to work with partners
Broad understanding of multiple technologies, reference architectures and business applications 
Basic understanding of UI technologies (HTML5, CSS)
