Apex Systems is currently looking for 2 Industrial Engineers for a Leading Electronics Client of ours!

Location: Los Indios, TX 78567 Contract Length: 1 year - room for extension  Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rate - BOE 


  • Studies related information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units.
  • Establishes work measurement programs & analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
  • Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
  • Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
  • Confers with management and engineering staffs to implement plans and recommends.
  • Develops management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, job evaluation, etc.
  • Prepares cost estimates for proposed projects and evaluates cost factors.
  • Interprets and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information.
  • Will initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

PROBLEM-SOLVING/KNOW HOW: (complexity of problems and education/experience & other knowledge required)

  • Four-year college degree in Industrial / Manufacturing engineering related field preferred; Experience or Internship in relevant field is a plus.
  • Must have good understanding of industrial engineering / lean manufacturing/ Six Sigma approaches
  • Must have the ability to analyze and interpret advanced technical data.
  • Must have the ability to develop solutions to moderate to complex problems or systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the computer applications appropriate to the position and assignment.


  • Must have the ability to learn and apply computer applications as necessary for the position.
  • Must successfully complete any training or certification courses required to support or strengthen position.

Must be able to work under moderate supervision

  • Must have the ability to read, interpret, and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.


  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
  • Must have the ability to effectively and appropriately interface and communicate with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
