Apex Life Sciences is searching for a qualified Jr. Manufacturing Automation Analyst to work at an exciting pharma company in the greater LA area!

  • Support the MES project in during qualification activities
  • Support MES go-live and operations
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing and quality business partners in the efforts for configuration, administration, integration, and maintenance activities of MES

  • BS degree in engineering, computer science or information systems and 1-2 years related work experience or MS degree in engineering, computer science or information systems and at least 0-1 year related work experience preferably in a GMP setting. 
  • Experience as subject matter expert in manufacturing systems with management leadership experience.
  • Must be knowledgeable and worked in biotech manufacturing related industry.
  • Demonstrated excellent understanding of cGMP execution.
  • Process Improvement experience with respect to manufacturing execution systems is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills (e.g., clear and concise), team player, and proven negotiation skills.
  • Specific experience with MES (Werum, Syncade, XFP, etc.)
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Experience with computer systems validation practices.
  • Good decision making with strong judgment through collaboration and consideration of others point-of-view.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical development and cell therapy manufacturing
  • Self-motivated, flexible, able to work in a fast-paced & demanding environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills; a leader AND a team player.
  • Strong personal presence with ability to command respect through exercise of sound business judgment and clear decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, influence, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures, and disciplines.
