Position Description:

The primary responsibilities of are the development, implementation, and integration of digital sub-systems. The candidate may perform or support requirements specification, digital design, simulation, design validation, system integration testing, and production support. The candidate should also have successfully implemented designs in fielded systems, and constructed test and integration plans.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years related experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication; must be able to present to various levels of management as well as internal and external customers
  • Broad technical experience designing and supporting Digital Sub-Systems including the resolution of tough technical challenges
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels
  • Ability maintain high performance in a highly dynamic, team based environment
  • Experience with electrical hardware design and development including design standard adherence
  • Past work experience (professional or academic) interacting with multidisciplinary teams of system design professionals including electrical, mechanical, software, and logistics engineers
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):

  • Experience with CreoSchematics
  • Experience in proposal writing including cost estimation
  • Knowledge of design practices
  • Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense security clearance as a condition of employment
