ROLE: Jr Programmer

LOCATION: Washington DC Metro

RESPONSIBILITIES and OVERVIEW: Apex Systems has an immediate need for a junior / entry level developer to help support a new initiative. As a junior develop, you’ll work with peers to help with programming and creating automated test scripts for a new platform/application being built. The position is on a contract basis, with a strong chance for contract extension, or even permanent employment opportunity. Hourly compensation ranges depending on experience. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, have working or educational experience using C# and SQL, and be willing to learn in a fast paced environment. Candidates with experience creating/developing test scripts are highly preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • C# experience
  • .NET experience
  • Basic SQL querying skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
