Seeking a highly-talented individual that will work closely with the Department of Administrative Services Central Project Team, the Kronos Advanced Testing Services’ (ATS) Team, and the Core-CT team.  This role involves quality and test advocacy, resource planning and management, and resolution of issues that impede the test efforts. Project Details:

Working under the direction of the Central Project Business Lead, the Project Integration Test Manager will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Collaborate with Core-CT, Central Project Business Analysts, and the Kronos Integration team to develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test scripts for the integration between PeopleSoft HR/Payroll and Kronos.
  • Coordinate testing schedules with the Integration teams
  • Responsible for providing hands on expert level assistance & mentoring to State employees that will be responsible for the on-going management of Kronos integration and application support
  • Leading a team of “dotted line” testing resources in a centralized testing environment
  • Perform baseline testing of the application to ensure readiness for System Integration (SI) testing
  • Participate in the design of the integration
  • Create and maintain reusable test data for automation of test scripts
  • Identify necessary resources/tools to manage and execute testing activities
  • Work independently & on multiple aspects of the project against deadlines in a dynamic environment where consistently producing deliverables within agreed upon timelines is expected
  • Implement best practices and tools for testing and test automation
  • Ensure proper tracking, oversight, and communication of SI efforts for each agency deployment
  • Maintain progress of testing and coordinate testing efforts
  • Manage testing status in our Issue and Project planning software, e.g. Jira
  • Trace test cases and results back to specific user stories/requirements/quality risks
  • First level review of production issues triage and issue reproduction
  • Participate in road-map planning to provide recommendations and concerns
  • Provide payroll cycles of post go-live support to each agency

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of extensive knowledge and experiencing deploying the following Kronos solutions:
    1. Kronos WFC Timekeeper
    2. Kronos WFC Calculated Accruals
    3. Kronos WFC Advanced Scheduler
    4. TeleStaff
    5. Kronos WIM
    6. Kronos InTouch Time Collection Device
    7. Kronos WFC Absence and Leave Manager
    8. Kronos Analytics
  • Experience implementing large scale deployments with Scheduling and Time and Attendance solutions
  • 3+ years of professional QA experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience with project tracking software like Jira
  • 5+ years of Kronos application configuration
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, prioritization, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communications skills – verbal, written and presentation
  • Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools
  • People skills, especially diplomacy and advocacy skills
