Rapidly growing company in Mesa looking for 2 Maintenance Electro-Mechanic Technician IIs.  We are expanding our workforce to keep up with production needs and are looking for quality, talented team members to join our team!  These positions will be working during the day on 1st shift.
 
Overview
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance services and repairs in the areas of machine mechanical, 3 phase electrical motors, and compressed air systems, commercial and industrial electrical installations, HVAC, controls, pump installations, lighting and pipefitting. Performs equipment condition monitoring.
Is very knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in the above mentioned areas. Helps defining and follows standard operating procedures, guidelines and instructions to perform the functions of the job. Works under the supervision of the leading engineer with minimum direction.
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on capital manufacturing equipment varieties.
- Conduct electronics, automated and mechanical process troubleshooting.
- Identify and evaluate failures utilizing detailed drawings, standard electronics testing equipment, manuals, diagrams, specifications and instructions.
- Support installations, analysis and acceptance of new electro mechanical equipment.
- Facilitate to ensure tool attain all electro and mechanical safety requirements.
- Ensure to maximize process uptime by identifying, troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Conduct repairs of electronic, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and industrial vehicles.
- Perform blueprint and schematic reading of electrical and electronic chart recording interpretation.
- Conduct repair of HVAC along with communication systems.
- Participate in safety and training meetings along with emergency preparedness systems.
- Operate light industrial vehicles and forklifts.
- Perform electrification and distribution lock out method steady with standard safety protocol.
- Support execution of tooling, process equipment testing and process validation.
 
Qualifications
- Proven experience as maintenance technician in an industrial plant
 
 
- Journeyman level understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and other industrial systems preferred
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility of hours, willingness to work overtime
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field a plus
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
 
Education, Experience and Certifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required, as well as related post high school education/training.
- Requires 3-5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Experience in Chemical manufacturing industry.
