Position Summary:

  • Technician performs maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repair on facility, support systems, laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
  • Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature in which judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. (2nd shift position)

 

Essential Functions:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on support systems, facility and production equipment.
  • Follow GDP and maintain all logs and required documentation
  • Follow all OSHA rules, including MSDS, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) and the maintenance of safety shields.
  • Maintains spare parts inventory to support manufacturing and facility equipment.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • HS diploma/equivalent with 5+ years related experience.
  • Requires general knowledge of PLC’s, electrical systems, water systems, mechanical equipment and HVAC systems - knowledge of boilers and compressed air systems are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment is an essential job function.
  • Must have strong mechanical skills; good communication, organizational, and computer skills; high attention to detail; understanding of the importance of employee safety and documentation; and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Also requires ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast changing work environment with willingness to work late or come in on short notice to make emergency repairs.
