Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Sandy Springs, GA

Contract: 12+ months

Description: 

  • The Business Intelligence Analyst will act as an internal strategy consultant providing actionable business intelligence to the marketing team for use in strategic decision making.
  • He/She will effectively developed and use reports, dashboards, analytics and data mining, in the creation of historical, current and predictive views of customer behavior patterns allowing for business optimization.
  • He/She must approach business problems with an analytical and strategic mindset to deliver business-enhancing solutions.
  • The role is ideal for an individual who is analytically minded with a curious nature and has an interest in participating in and gaining experience in the decisions that have real impact on business results.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Responsible for analyzing business data and transforming it into meaningful and useful information that will help drive business owners.
  • Proactively collect and analyze data; synthesize results of analyses, develop and make recommendations and alternatives based on the full spectrum of internal/external considerations.
  • This position provides administrative and analytical support as needed to drive day-to-day efficiencies and decisions.
  • Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports.

  • Demonstrate ability to work with various software programs; work with data management technique/systems; demonstrated skills in database software applications and report generation. Adept at queries and report writing.
  • Prioritize work assignments and manage time effectively to complete duties.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Data tools including Adobe Analytics, OBIEE, Tableau


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's in Information Management, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related equivalent field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing databases
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in an environment with rapidly changing business needs
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
