Mechanical Engineer I
Candidate Responsibilities  
  • Design installations of hydraulic systems on earthmoving equipment, specifically Motor Graders.
  • Designing component mounting and lines routings for implement/steering/brake/fan/hystat hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, and fuel systems.
  • Creating design concepts; collaborating with other design engineers, suppliers, and manufacturing planners; creating detailed designs; creating engineering drawings; analyzing and testing; and verifying successful implementation in the factory.
  • Successful designs must meet schedule, cost, and quality goals.
  • Use Creo and other design tools, as well as manage design work performed globally.

Required skills:
  • Applicants must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field 
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and must be able to show achievements working with teams, and show personal examples of dedication to goals.
  • Must be able to work a flexible daily schedule including late evening or early morning meetings with our global workforce.
  • It is desirable for applicants to have recent engineering experience designing hydraulic systems using 3D modeling software, particularly Creo.
  • Also desirable is two or more years of recent experience designing for heavy duty mobile equipment, including hands-on experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated leadership in their school or work history.
