Performs all or part of the full life-cycle development process, ranging from user analysis, design, and development to implementation and support. Development may involve front-end GUI development, middleware development, or back-end database connectivity for applications within client/server or distributed systems. Creates and modifies utility programs. Ensures systems efficiency and integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • 5-10 years experience:
  • Responsible for development of web application systems for users in the department.
  • Understanding current .NET technologies.
  • Demonstrable detailed understanding of design principles and methods, technology and standards.
  • Interact with business users and Business Analysts to understand the requirements and create design documents.
  • Work with project Managers and development leads to complete assigned tasks and with expected quality and on time.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams and vendor resources.

Skills:

  • .Net/C#
  • MVC
  • C++ (nice to have)
  • Perl (nice to have)

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to communicate well in meetings and create written technical design document is important in addition to the technical skills.
