Our direct client, in Horsham, PA, a medium sized product development organization, is looking for 2 .Net Developers (1 Senior; 1 Mid-Level) to join their organization. As a member of the team, you will work in a dynamic, collaborative, results-oriented, enterprise technology environment.
Development is done using mostly ASP.Net MVC and C# and your focus will be on back-end (SQL Server) and service layer (API, WebAPI) development. The team does handle the UI of the product application as well. You can email me Jason Biser at and we can schedule time to discuss further.
Technical Notes
  • 5+ years’ of ASP.Net MVC & C# for Senior Developer; 3+ years’ Mid-level Developer
  • Experience with WebAPI or WCF and REST based Web Services
  • JSON
  • Understand and ability to read and write T-SQL and SQL Queries to get data from database.
  • SQL Server Database (SQL and T-SQL)
  • Ability to write Unit Test and leverage TDD approach

Team Dynamic
  • 15 Person Development Team (broke into 3 teams with 1 team focusing on UI (Angular) and other two more of services, back-end and API.
  • Separate QA Teams
  • Developers should be able to be given task/direction and be self-driven. Will work with Technical Leads but not be looked over the shoulder at all times.

Essential Functions
  • Provide development and support services for the product platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively learn and use new technologies and provide technical direction for a suite of applications.
  • Design, develop and implement software applications that satisfy complex business requirements focusing on stability, maintainability, and scalability while maximizing technology value.
  • Provide leadership and engage in problem decomposition, software architecture, interface design and clean, efficient, re-usable code implementation.
  • Participate in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) working practices such as daily meetings, sprint planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Utilize good technical practices such as automated unit testing, code reviews, continuous integration, test automation, and source code control

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in full lifecycle development in a heterogeneous technology environment.
  • Good SOLID web development experience using .Net MVC,  (3) years minimum
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design [OOD] principles and design patterns
  • Good understanding of relational databases and experience with MS SQL Server.
  • Ability to provide hands-on functional and technical expertise in the analysis, design, development and implementation of business processes and applications.
  • Comfortable with development at various levels of the full .Net application stack, including user interfaces, console applications, class libraries.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well and relate easily to both technical and business oriented employees either independently or in a team environment.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work independently under pressure in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience in source control, unit testing, automated build, continuous integration and test driven development.
