Looking for a candidate looking to work for a large financial client in the Charlotte area.  The Nortel and Avaya PBXs at one of the client sites needs to be migrated to IPT by 2019 as a result of the data center Service Life Extension Program (SLEP). All legacy data center gear has to be upgraded to meet current data center standards. The legacy TDM switches (Avaya & Nortel) are not compliant.

 The TDM to IPT project may have this site in scope for 2019. Nonetheless, planning and any prep needs to begin in 2018. The VIS team is slowly moving team members to IPT via BAU MACD efforts. Those efforts need to be increased and a plan developed for all traffic traversing the switches. There are also contact center agents on the Avaya switch that need to be migrated off.

  • Complete infrastructure buildout is needed.
  • Decom efforts are needed
  • ECT needs to be engaged

Requirements:

-5+ years experience programming and deploying Avaya Nortel SL100 or CS2100 PBX systems, inclusive of translations
-3+ years prior Switch Expert application experience
-5+ years Voice engineering experience preferred
-5+ years experience working with TELCO carriers to migrate DIDs and circuits for major site moves
-3+ years enterprise level experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Unity Connection preferred
-Prior experience designing, implementing, testing, researching and implementing voice systems in accordance with industry best practices
