Job Description:
General Responsibilities:
  • Works on projects of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Decision-making and independence is involved but limited. 1-5 years of experience.
  • Provides general governance for small single technology projects
  • Generally focused on performing repeatable task/activities
  • Coordinates site readiness tasks through implementation
  • Maintains projects schedule(s)
  • Updates regular status reports
  • Generally works under the supervision of other team members
  • Execute and maintain project management processes in the areas of project schedule, quality management, communications management, risk/issue management, and change management.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and calendars with the input and assistance of transition leads
  • Facilitate team meetings, providing meeting minutes and action items where needed
  • Build strong communication channels with internal stakeholders in various departments: Sales, Professional Services, IT Operations, Development teams, Release Management, Networking
  • Track tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reports
  • Responsible for tracking project changes and producing updated schedules
  • Gather and report performance measurement of on-going progress.
  • Ensure smooth communication within the project team and other cross-functional teams
  • Interface with internal/external stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Prepare and document Day 1/Day 2 support documentation and acceptance criteria

  • Has a working understanding of Project Management and/or ITIL principles
  • Has demonstrated experience with verbal and written communications skills
  • Has working understanding of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional organizational skills

Functional Accountability:
Provides technical and/or analytical support to one or more departments or work units with limited supervision; aids in the successful completion of projects within a product or functional area; typically reports to Supervisor or on occasion Manager. Manages the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of the organization's local area networks and wide area networks. Analyzes products and recommends use of new products and services to senior management. Manages LAN/WAN performance and security. Establishes and implements policies and procedures for LAN/WAN usage throughout the organization. May manage only LAN or WAN area.
Individual Contributions:
  • Performs a variety of activities (may be technical in nature) in support of the functional processes, programs and/or services. Work may include compiling and analyzing data, creating reports, providing information and/or recommendations regarding function specific policies; tracking of processes & activities. May be involved or lead in smaller projects or phases of a larger project with accountability for tasks assigned; providing project updates or timelines as needed. May provide administrative support.

Decision Making Authority:
  • Receives supervision and occasional guidance on achieving short term goals and operating objectives; may work independently with limited supervision; may assist on team projects.

Work Complexity:
  • Generally works under existing standards and procedures; may require some interpretation. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action; works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations requires a review of identifiable factors.

Required Shift:
  • 7 am-  4 pm 8 am – 5 pm
