Network Engineer

Austin, TX

 

Permanent, Fulltime Position

$85,000 - $100,000 annually

 

Technical Support Engineer will become an expert on internal products and offerings, work with external clients to identify and resolve issues, do research, and respond to open tickets as quickly as possible. 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • External client/customer support experience.
  • Strong networking experience, including experience with the following:
    • TCP/IP
    • DNS
  • Experience with the following:
    • HTTP
    • SMTP
    • SSL/TLS
    • Active Directory (Domains, structure, permissions, group policies, etc.)
  • Strong database experience, including MS SQL, Oracle and DB2 
  • Experience supporting Red Hat Linux and Windows 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience - highly preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (i.e. CCNA) - highly preferred.
