Apex Systems is seeking an Operations Analyst for a position located in Cleveland, OH with one og the top legal firms in the country.
 Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure stable and reliable ISP network services (e.g. access products, service networks and core network).
  • Day-to-day network performance monitoring.
  • Network troubleshooting and fault analysis; hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Trouble ticket generation and response; carrier interface and escalations.
  • Deployment and maintenance of network monitoring, analysis and reporting tools.
  • Application of configuration changes via our change control systems and processes.
  • Installation of network hardware and software.
  • Participate in a 24x7 call-out rotation
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, DNS, DHCP, SQL Server and Office 365

Required Skills:
  • HP Openview, Node Manager, etc.
  • Orion
  • Network - layer 2 & 3 knowledge, DNS, Active Directory - FIM/MIM,
  • Servers - Win 2012 R2 and 2016
  • Data Center knowledge and understanding, DR concepts, etc.
  • VMware vSphere
  • SCCM

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Competence in server installation and configuration
  • Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
  • Microsoft Management Pack Development , deployment, and implementation
  • Silect IDE
  • Microsoft ISE
  • PowerShell
