The selected candidate will perform both local, hands-on as well as remote support and will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of infrastructure equipment, Move, Add, Change, and Disposals. Additionally, this person will support end users across local Boeing facilities, and will coordinate field support and repair and/or IT Service Center support as required.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Support and maintain computers in both Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktop environment
  2. Configuration and mapping to printers in a Windows network environment
  3. Support and troubleshooting of common desktop applications to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, McAfee hard drive encryption, Antivirus and Host Intrusion Prevention, Smart Card middleware and hardware, Endpoint backup software, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Lync/skype
  4. Document & follow processes, procedures, knowledge articles related to support environment

Required Qualifications

  1. Experience supporting C-Level Executives, business owners and/or upper management.
  2. 2+ years of experience in desktop support in a large corporate environment
  3. A+ Certification - Preferred if you have before applying, if you do not please make sure you can commit to obtaining the A+ within 90 days of working.
  4. Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, from 30 minutes up to eight hours
  5. Ability to kneel and reach under desks and office equipment, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  6. Dell Certification (DCSE Client 1000, to be taken after onboarding)

Desired Qualifications

  1. Experience troubleshooting laptops and Dell PCs is 99% of what you will be doing. 
    Experience in supporting Mac OS and iOS devices
  2. Microsoft Visio network documentation experience
  3. One or more of the following: MCP/MCSA/MCSE, Network+, Security+
