Location: Tampa, Florida 33614

Work Schedule: 8 hours between 7:30am - 7:30pm Mon-Fri (start times between 7:30- 11:00 AM)

Position Summary:

As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you will be a key member of the Specialty Pharmacy by enhancing our members experience within their specific health plan. The purpose of this Pharmacy Service Representative is to provide expertise and customer service to our valued members or providers relating to enrollment, refilling of prescription orders, discussing benefits, and any/all other questions in regards to their health plan.   

Primary responsibilities of the Pharmacy Service Representative include:

  • Interacting with members who may have serious chronic conditions, as well as physician practices, insurance carriers, health plans, and pharmacy operations team members
  • Answering inbound and outbound calls
  • Routing calls to appropriate department(s)
  • Entering accurate information into a multi-screen computer application.
  • Assisting pharmacy services staff members with answering phones, triaging calls, filing and other administrative support activities.
  • Work are a team and depend on each other. If you are not at work when scheduled you can't contribute to your team. We strive for perfect attendance so we can help people on their path to better health.

Experience:

  • 2 plus years of customer service experience or data entry
  • 2 plus years computer experience in a Windows based system
