Project Manager - Black Belt

6-9 month contract

Eden Prairie MN

 

We are in need of a deployment leader for the Enterprise Issues Management team. This work is a key to the World Class Quality program and the EIM program is a blue chip receiving support at the highest levels of leadership. The deployment of this program is a high priority and we need a senior, experienced resource that can work with business leaders to implement this new way of handling issues to meet the 48hr TAT goal which was set by the CEO. The program has seen success but needs solid resources to meet the demand of businesses. As new deployments start we need resources to complete important assessments and data analysis activities as well as support change management. 

What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment? 
Deploy a new issues management process and system for a business area. Data analysis is a key skillset to help the business identify the issues that can be improved for the highest impact. Must be open to take direction from colleagues and work in a fast paced environment where change occurs frequently. 

Qualifications: 

Senior Program Manager with 5+ years in a role leading large deployments 
1. Experience in an Agile environment (not IT development) 
2. 3+ years as a Six Sigma BB or equivalent statistical process control skills 
3. Supports Initial Business Assessments, Process Alignment, & Technology Onboarding 
4. Complete measure system analysis and process capability assessment to support SLA analysis and dashboard 
5. Document current state process, system, role and process time 
6. Lead a successful lean event aligning to future state process 
7. Support process alignment through build, UAT, E2E testing and training 
8. Develop business case prior to each deployment and measure results after go-live (needed for agile funding model) 
9. Update/create job aids for full user experience and update policies and procedures 
10. Gather root cause and corrective actions 
11. Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization 



What are the work hours? 
8-5 

Activities include coordinating the delivery of multiple projects, developing cost benefit analyses for the program, communicating to an executive committee, creating and reporting program status utilizing a dashboard, allocating resources across the multiple projects, defining project governance policies and managing the financial concerns of the program. Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties. 


Resource must be skilled in Six Sigma Statistical Process Control methods and have the ability to manage large scale change. Process documentation either in Process Map or Job Aid format is required. Ability to work with all levels of a matrixed organization is critical for success in this role. Effective communication and facilitation is needed to guide business users through the specifics of a system and process deployment.
