Work with clients to identify and define business issues and concerns. Analyze business decisions for fit to strategy and feasibility, and communicate priorities clearly through data. Identify, define, and set up processes to collect metrics to keep organizations on track. Recommend solutions to align operations with desired strategy and available technology.   Additional Job Requirements  

The Contract Portfolio Manager for DEA serves as portfolio and intake manager for the central, shared service Data Engineering & Analytics function within Information Technology (IT). This central group offers enabling capabilities and services in a hub-and-spoke fashion for a wide variety of constituents and business units across information management, integration, analytics and data science capabilities and platforms. This group interfaces and operates projects in partnership with multiple functions within Biogen. The Portfolio Manager is expected to be an intermediate-to-senior level resource that will be tasked with coordinating across they key sub-teams of DEA as they engage and work on various projects throughout the year. These projects range in complexity and scope and consist of resources within a matrixed team of both internal and consulting partner resources tasked with: project work stream leadership, technical leads, architects, engineers, functional leads and other IT delivery partners. As part of portfolio coordination, the Portfolio Manager will serve as a central point of contact for DEA leadership for budget and resource planning coordination and is responsible for managing the intake, discovery, resource capacity analysis and cross-project impact analysis of demand requests for all DEA resources. Additionally, the Portfolio Manager will work alongside DEA leadership in support of day-to-day operational activities and develop targeted messaging and content to support DEA’s internal branding, content management, and delivery highlights.s Published Description:
