Description: Product Content Development Specialist   Contract Position: 12 month duration

The Product Content Development Specialist will work with Personal Safety business leaders, marketing, training, and the digital marketing team to drive, execute, measure and optimize product launches, programs, marketing campaigns and communication engagement across the division. As a member of the content development team you will manage your project budget and resources, and work with US and global cross-functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Contribute and execute the annual product content plan. Position will understand the overall Marketing Plan and determine best strategies to deliver results on time and on budget

• Collaborate with product marketing, tech service and training teams to develop and execute on content marketing strategies and plans that build on relevant online product content to help drive customers through the decision journey

• Develop/optimize and approve content for product grouping (Base-Variant).

• Lead complex projects while collaborating with cross functional Teams on key functional areas.

• Manage and create product content for both internal and external audiences

• Proactively bring forward ideas for product content creation of digital solutions including identifying where in the customer journey digital solutions best fit

• Drive brand and product engagement across multiple multimedia platforms via relevant, scalable design supporting integrated marketing communications campaigns

• Ability to work within brand standards while executing compelling design (brand expression). Ensures alignment with internal brand identity

• Work with external vendors (and internal services) on multimedia campaign execution as needed

• Collaborate with personal safety business, training and digital marketing operations teams on campaign strategies and marketing tactics to ensure execution aligns with the content plan

• Work with globally based teams to provide direction on content strategy and plan to aide in local execution
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university

• Minimum of three (3) years combined experience in digital marketing or marketing communications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technology fluent with good understanding of digital channels (Search experience or eCommerce experience will be additional advantage)

• Win together - collaborating and establishing multi-functional teams across structures dedicated to driving marketing activities.

• Content marketing, marketing automation, customer journey mapping experience

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Thinks outside of functional role

• Personal Safety industry experience

• Experience in the following is preferable: Windows, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint




Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Assists marketing professionals by following direction in completing routine, non-complex assignments such as: executing programs/tactics, handling inquiries of narrow scope and complexity, managing simple projects, measuring and analyzing results. Demonstrates and applies an intermediate level of knowledge of marketing and marketing processes and a moderate level of business acumen. Worker primarily uses intermediate coordination/administrative skills to execute marketing programs/tactics, handle requests from the sales force, channel partners and customers, gather, assemble, and analyze secondary industry/market information, prepare market, customer, competitor or other standard reports. Participates in efforts to design, develop and implement new or improved projects or processes or to solve problems. Assignments are often short to medium-term projects with many projects underway at one time.. Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility is required. Also required are intermediate influencing and communication skills, analysis, and project management skills.
