iOS Mobile App Product Manager

6-month contract. 100% Onsite 5 days a week – Oakland CA

The Product Manager will be the “face” of an existing iOS application that physicians use internally. The team has about 10 people and is working with Agile. The Product Manager will manage projects as well as communicate with executives, physicians who use the product, developers, business analysts, and other co-workers. The Product Manager must be comfortable presenting to high level audiences and discuss coding with developers, as well as have the ability to navigate internal politics gracefully. The team is working on enhancements, fixes, and upgrades.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and own a product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders for one or more products
• Work closely with a cross-functional team composed of analysts, developers, designers, and testers to specify and execute new product features in an agile/scrum environment
• Analyze complex use cases and break them down to simplify the user experience
• Analyze the competitive landscape, user support data, key performance indicators, and stakeholder feedback to determine gaps in functionality and new opportunities
• Working with business analysts, ensure the product backlog is prioritized and user stories are documented appropriately
• Manage communications for both internal team members and outside stakeholders
• Work with team members (and other teams) to identify process improvement opportunities and help implement them
• Facilitate status meetings with team members and stakeholders
 
 
Required:
• Healthcare industry experience
• 5+ years project and product management experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills - mastery of the English language a must
• Experience working with SaaS, enterprise applications, mobile applications
• Track record of successfully delivering products with demonstrable business impact
• Proven analytical skills and data-driven prioritization and decision making
• Bachelors degree required (Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Administration, or other related field). MBA, MPH or PMP desired
