Job Description:

Responsible for: Maintenance, support and operations of company's primary software system that spans 100's of stores in a variety of geographies. Team is also responsible for various corporate systems.

Team responsible for:

Software release:

Roll out support for 100's of locations (US, mexico, central America)

Pre-release final testing of new releases

Tier 2 trouble ticket resolution:

Defect verification, triage and prioritization

Production monitoring:

Software batch processing verification

Database replication and network monitoring

Software deployment control and verification

Work hands on with infrastructure and integration teams and vendors to research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve issues in the Client's production systems.

Experience:

3+ years service desk or operations support role

3+ years experience in a business-critical, multi-location, retail production support environment

3+ years experience supporting multi-tier application 

EDU:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from 4 year school in a tech related field-- Computer Science or Information Systems

Experience: 

  • Exp with help desk software
  • Exp using issue tracking tools-Jira
  • Exp with a network management system- solarwinds
  • Exp with notifications systems such as PagerDuty or xMatters
  • Exp with job scheduling software such as UC4
  • Testing background is a plus
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to a non technical audience, exp working with customers and staff possessing a wide range of technical expertise is REQUIRED
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgement and take action
  • Strong customer service orientation and proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
