Position Description:
Reporting to the Director of Production Support, The Production Support Engineer will provide technical and operational support for the Sakura Trading platforms in both the primary and secondary production locations. This position will also be called upon to assist with non-technical tasks such as documentation, project management and risk remediation.
Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 4 years of Production Support experience (specifically Linux Systems Administration)
  • Monitor, escalate, document and resolve production related issues.
  • Hardware / software configuration and installation.
  • Conduct and document DR tests, strategies and procedures.
  • Maintain documentation for all procedures, ensuring that procedures meet best practices and are kept up to date.
  • Experience with Vendor relationship management, specifically maintaining and troubleshooting issues. 
  • Technical operations support.

 Additional Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
Must be able to work a on a rotation schedule for this role (including rotating weekend shifts).
